Synthetic fibers such as polyester are known to be not biodegradable, but their yarn strength and stretch rate are twice and ten times of cotton. If we recycle clothes made from polyester to produce high-quality garments, our used clothes will no longer be incinerated or pollute landfills. Upcycling allows us to create a sustainable loop in the textile and fashion industry and achieve a zero-waste future.
